Whistle Pig Type R

Whether it's climbing steep tarmac or descending narrow, washboard gravel roads, the Funk Whistle Pig Type R excels.  It's the one bike that can do it all!  It's super comfortable on the street as well as comfortable on the dirt.  The Whistle Pig has a little slacker head tube, a little longer top tube, and uses a little shorter stem for all day comfort.

Additional Highlights:

• Funk's butted tube set puts the strength where you need it, but drops the weight where you don't.

• Funk's slider dropouts allow for chainstays as short as 415mm (700c x 39mm) for phenomenal climbing,  Slider dropouts also allow for the use of up to a 45mm tire assuming a chainstay length of 430mm leveraging the Funk slider dropouts.   

• Additionally there are inserts that allow for post mount or flat mount mount disc brakes. 

• Last but not least, going to a 650b wheel with a 50mm tire is a piece of cake.

• Whistle Pig Frames come glass media blasted for an awesome finish, but we don't stop there.  All frames are ceramic coated for exceptional long lasting protection
